Cheapest Genurine Mercedes Extended Warranty 7-75k or 7-100K in USA

I just extended my warranty to 75K on a 2010 ML350 with 48K miles. You have to have under 50K miles to do this. I called a bunch of Mercedes dealers and their price hovered around $4K for the extended 7 Year 75K mile warranty. I called finance at the number above which will take you to the person to speak with. Tell her you are coming through Checkbook. I do not expect the other Mercedes to be much different in price.

My cost was $2324 for the extension. If I had gone for the 100K it would have been $3173 ($5k at my local dealer), but since my wife will only put 7K a year or less on the car, I will run out of years before she uses up the miles.

Hope this helps someone save some money.

extended warranty

I just bought a 2007 E350 from a private party. I saved around $1700 buying from a private party here in Arizona.(no sales tax on private sales) That sales tax saving helped pay most of the cost of a 5 year 100,000 mile extended warranty through my credit union. The cost was $2175. My credit union also will sell me a 4 year 48,000 mile extended warranty on my 2003 Suburban that I am selling for $1815.

What you are describing is not a MB extended warranty.

I just purchased my C250 3 weeks ago from a local dealer as a MBZ CPO car with 5800 miles on it. The CPO extends the factory warranty to 5 yr 100,000 miles and I was offered a MBZ Factory Extended warranty on top of that to 7 yr 135,000 miles for $ 2,950.00. The dealer gave me a month to accept the extended warranty at this price otherwise I can purchase it anytime untill the CPO expires at $ 3900.00.

Im a hgh milage driver and not sure if I want to pay up front for the cchance I need the coverage

That price of $2950 is below the dealer's cost and you should seriously think about it because once you go over 50K miles you cannot extend the warranty. A normal trip to service just to fix little stuff is a $500 bill, and I would expect a high mileage driver to spend money on a water pump, alternator, suspension, air conditioning, heated seats, etc long before 135K miles.

Red face extended warranty

RE: extended warranty. I have MB extended warranty from dealer. Are you supposed to receive ID card or other notification from Mercedes?
