Which is a better brand? MB or BMW

My favorite is obviously MB, The craftsmanship behind those cars are far much better than any BMW, i'm a mechanic, i have seen 2 year old bmw come in the shop with body panels such as weatherstrips missing or falling off, sun damage on the hood. Ultimate driving machine? i think not, As for speed, the M division is good, but, it is not AMG. I would like to hear your views on this guys.

Here we go again.

Probably one of the most worn out topics on German car forums.
You want razor sharp steering and a rough ride get a BMW. You want very powerful and refined sedan MB wins.

You're asking this question on a forum of Benz owners?

Go ask it on a BMW forum and the response may vary.

I think if you really want to get to the bottom of the issue, you should start a survey on this side "how many previous BMW owners drive MB now?"
and than opposite survey on BMW forum.

Well., I've been in other shoes driving the BMW flagship - 750il
Not anymore, can't have constant oil drips, beside sinking lot of money in the car.

...Did You Really Mean "Which do I prefer?"

Determining the "better" brand is largely a matter of preference.

When it came time to actually obtain a vehicle to "cruise around in with the top down", what was available in the price range I was willing to pay for a 4-place "toy" were the 2000-2004 models of the CLK320/430, BWM 328/330, Saab 900 series, and Volvo V70. Drove representative samples of each. My preference was what I bought, the CLK320.

At the end of this process, I got a specific vehicle that was the "best" automobile I could find that fit ALL my criteria. It happened to be a Benz that I preferred.

DeutscheFahrer

'03 CLK320 (A208)--"Nyx"--Black/Black/Black (104K)
'09 Camry Hybrid--"Cassandra"--Red/Tan (60K)
'10 Tundra SR5--"Xena"--Black/Tan/Black Cap (15K)
'15 Highlander Limited--"Pandora II"--OohLaLaRouge/Tan (3K miles)
'16 VW GTI--PP & DSG--"Ostara"--Black/Black (114 Miles)

So now you make me wonder what are you personal preferences DF.
You choose no oil stains over 0.001sec faster at green light, or what?
