1994 SL500 Central Locking

I bought a 1994 SL500 recently and have had but one problem: the central locking. If say, I lock the car from the driver's side, it will lock both doors and trunk, but not the two door pockets and armrest compartment. Conversely, if I lock the car from the passenger side/the trunk, it will lock everything but the passenger side door pocket. My guess is that this has something to do with me not owning the original key, and merely a reproduction one. But this still does not explain why the passenger side door pocket does not lock. My guess is that the latch has fallen out of place. If someone could explain to me what this is it would be greatly appreciated.

That car uses a vacuum system to lock everything. Over the years, the plastic tubing and rubber connectors can leak or come apart, as well as the activators at each site. This likely explains the door pocket problem; door panel removal is pretty simple and available videos show the procedure. IIRC, it sounds like you're using a variant of the "valet" locking pattern; it unlocks doors, but not other things.

Go to your model section and do a search for already existing answers.
You car might have PSE pump that operate the locks, while older models used engine pump/vacuum tank for locks.
Per my experience on W123 the first to go were diaphragms on door actuators.
