1985 190D blew a head gasket...and electrical issues
it just seems to be one thing after another...I had just gotten all my wiring in to rewire my car when I blew out a head gasket...I have the head gasket on and the head secured and in place...however I tried my best not to remove the cam...but had to loosen up all of the bolts holding it in, so I might as well have taken it out...
it is a 1985 190D 2.2L 4 cylinder...I need to know the torque on the 10 bolts that hold the camshaft in...I know the patterns, just not the torque itself...can anyone help me?
I also have a problem in electrical all of the sudden...my radio and sunroof are getting no power...where should I check connections? I was installing a new hood latch cable after just fixing the sunroof and I went to hit the buttons and got nothing...I have checked the cables around the underside of the fusebox where I was working and everything seems correctly connected, I checked the fuses themselves...any ideas? I am almost 100% positive it has to be something in the area of the underside of the fusebox...
I haven't messed with the wiring YET in terms of replacing it all, so before anyone asks, no, its still the original wiring
