Post W203 C240

I have a 2003 C240 (W203) which is a stunning vehicle and I am VERY happy with it. I bought it second hand from Japan, and I have a few questions - where can I get a handbook for this vehicle in English? There is a switch by the gear lever (an auto) which has C or S on it, and nobody has been able to tell me what C or S means

C is comfort mode and the car starts out in second gear and also shifts are softer.
S is sport mode and it starts in first gear with a more aggressive shift pattern for sportier driving.

My W208's transmission is marked "W" and "S" for Winter and Summer (the same first letters in either German or English). The settings have the same effect as described by Noodles The first time I test-drove the car it was set on "W" without my knowing it. Smooth take-off, but all the responsiveness of an Amish horse and wagon.

BTW--Is your W203 left- or right-hand drive ??

Best Wishes--Carl

Pictures please. This would be a rare bird here in the States (I'm assuming you're in the States).
