Smile Fine Automobiles

break, malfunction , wear down, act funny , require large amounts of cash , have design flaws that are kept secret until a class action is started. The following is my rambling dissertation on what I have learned having been fortunate enough to own some fine automobiles.......
I sometimes wonder why brake squeal on my 100k car can be normal. Why is it the dealer says there is really nothing that can be done. How come the guy next to me in a kia does not have brake squeal ? Why is it the batteries run down and make the electronics start acting like the northern lights on a cold winter night. What is parasitic draw ?, is my car infected?. What do you mean there is a leak and the parts are back-ordered and small leaks are nothing to worry about. How come my engine can explode because of a faulty bearing ?. This always makes me wonder if the other exotic is really trouble free like their owners say. Usually this crosses my mind when I am driving to work and that annoying sporadic and untraceable rattle seems to purposely upset my otherwise perfect drive. I don't understand why the paint on my car can attract swirl marks, especially when I hand wash using the two bucket method. Can't be my technique, could it?. Why do I care about swirl marks in the first place? No one else seems to , except when you go to sell the car and the tire kicker points them out and expects a 40 % price reduction when a 300.00 trip to the detailer remedies the issue. Come to think of it why can't they make paint that won't get etched by bird excrement. Why is it every trip to the dealer is 1000.00 and everybody there seems so happy except me?. Why do I need to change my wheels as soon as I get the car.? Are the wheels which came with the car dangerous? .Come to think of it why do I need to start taking apart my car's engine so it goes faster. Is 193 mph not fast enough? . Am I better at building an engine then the car company. ? Why is every cars navigation and sound system not a good as an aftermarket system. Why don't they make aftermarket systems standard equipment? Why is the wiring so complicated. ? How come I am the only one who has this problem and why can't the dealer hear what I hear? Why does it take the dealer three times to fix the same problem. Why do I have to tell the dealer about the TSB?. Why am I nervous when I take the car in ? . Please don't wash my car for me. How come I think my carpets will have grease on them when my car is returned. Do you really think those paper mats help? I know they don't . What do you mean the mark was there when the car came in? . You know my car was perfect and now its not. Why do I park far away but someone always parks beside me. ? Are they doing it to bug me? How come my tires attract nails? do they put magnets in tires? Why do I find shopping carts near my car in a plaza parking lot. Did one hit my car and bounce off? I cant find a mark but I know its there. How come the part always fails the day after the warranty expires.? Why do scuff marks occur? How come when people get in my car I have to be on the lookout for sharp objects in their pockets or for mud on their shoes? And so it goes, all brands have their faults and no car of mine can ever be perfect , except the other guys whose car is always flawless, except when I see it and drive it and that's when I know............ in the end they are just cars and more or less just like mine

One way to assure that a rant will never be read is to encapsulate all of one's stream-of-consciousness thoughts and complaints into a long, rambling paragraph.

Hopefully that was your goal.

+1. If you want to be considered completely irrational as well, drift into one or more additional languages at different times.

I love a good rant, but only if it has sentences and paragraphs.

Although it was somewhat of a challenge to get through, I quickly began to realize that most of it consisted of questions I've often asked myself.

Not bad.

Only took you 10-1/2 hours to get through it.

I promise, I'll leave the OP alone...and I do hope his feelings aren't hurt. We all are having what I consider to be good-natured fun.

Now, if you want
-dazed and confused
-irrational
-rant

all with good paragraph structure, and continuing for 10 days shy of three years, look at this thread:

Also, remember, the novel JR by William Gaddis is considered one of the best works of literature of the 20th century-and has no sentence structure!

That was the point , more or less. To those unemployed English majors who found it tedious to wade through and bemoaned the lack of structure please accept my apologies. I promise I don't care what you say or think.
