Totally different car but replacing my 100 C single wire switch for about $25 fixed my fan problems. Of course I made sure my wiring harness looked intact and made sure the fan spun with 12 volts applied directly to it.
When done, I had to put cardboard in front of the radiator to make the car go above 100 C to get fan to turn on.
My dream car is a classic sporty five speed (stick+overdrive) convertible that seats five. If, you want 70's-80's Mercedes tuner wheels, let me know.
