Smile Servicing

Hi, I am sure this has probably been asked many times before, but searching for it gives thousands of results and I can't find the right information. So please don't shout at me, I have tried :-)

Simple question,

I just had a service B done at 92,000 miles on a W169 A180 CDI.

Now the display is showing Service B due in 9,000 miles.

Two questions:

I thought it would reset it to around 15,000 miles, is this wrong?

Also I had assumed that it would be expecting an A service next, rather than another B?

I use this for commuting 100 miles a day at 75mph the whole way, could it be that I don't do enough slow town driving for it to ever want an A service?

P.s, I used they were very good, picked up from my office at 9am and delivered back at 3pm, £390 including brake fluid change, interior filter and the extra cost for recommended oil.
