HELP before i sell it

I have a 1998 slk230 with 98000 +/- miles. The owner before must have hated this car. Every bolt I come across was loose, just an abused car. I have replaced the suspension front and back, belts, wheel and tires .A week or so it backfired when I was getting up to speed on an on ramp. After that I have had no get up and go. The car runs fine and starts fine just no power. I got home open hood and notice the supercharger not spinning at higher rpms. So I drove it a few more days and noticed on the interstate that the car bogged down like I was pulling something. I gave it gas and it came out of it. It did that a few more times. Saturday I did a tune up. Plugs wires fuel filter and crank senor (it had that code). After all that still no supercharger. So I tried what a member of the forum shown that he had done. I removed the washers so the clutch is always engaged. That was very easy to do. Started car and supercharger is spinning now but still no real power.
Oh before I locked down the supercharger by removing the washer I did check to see if it would engage.
I applied 12 volts and ground to the plug and it works fine.

Help me please, My little blue demon isn’t fun to drive anymore .

Welcome to Benzworld, what fault codes, if any, do you have now?

ERIC.
