Post CLK 500 Radio

I have a 2004 CLK 500 and want to change the OEM Radio to something that is modern. Can anyone recommend something? It is a pain in the butt to get the Bose subwoofer in the car to work with the new system?

If the Bose system in your 2004 is like the one in my 2001, it's not hard at all to get it connected. The main thing to make sure of is that you get something with a preamp output above 4 volts. While sales folks probably won't know that answer, it can be found in the specification pages of the manufacturers' websites.

You should buy the wiring adapter specific to your vehicle. You'll probably have better luck finding out about that in your model's forum, W209 CLK Class - - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum .
