Dear All

i new on this site but i`ve been looking and reading all your helping comments since i have my merc.
My name is Alex and i live in a rainy UK.
I had c-class ,e-class,converible and all i had to do when i had some problems to read your previous topics and found guys really a big help to any merc owners.
Reason is i joined because i bought a 2005 model cdi 220 c-class and i was soo happy with it.

Unfortunatelly i had problem with dpf filter but that`s due to dealer useless sevice bigger problem i have is some noise and the performance of the car.
The problem i have mainly happens on cold start or if i start the engine again but wait a little,so start the engine then move out as i give gas i can hear a kind of blow off from left hand corner under the bonnet possibly from intercooler or turbo. With the noise i feel the car pull enough but still weaker then before. Some time just noise gone but right away performance goes down, like car not pull, slow change gear/automatic/and basicly not going the car.I checked the intercooler and i found oil on front of grill on bonnet and all over not much but can notice straigt away.
Is it possible to have a hole on the intercooler pipe or turbo?
Even it is why is stopped after running a little?
Is the computer put in safe mode?
Hope you guys can get me closer to find out the problem
any help is much appreciated
