Trying to determine if 225/40r18 8"wide with +.45 offset will fit my 07 C280. Help!
First off, I know this belongs in the wheel and tire forum. I looked there, the threads are all explaining the theory and logic with offset calculators. No real definitive answers as to fitment. I figure there has to be one or two of you guys running rims this size if its possible. Can anyone help me out and simply confirm if these will fit?
Found sites claiming that the C class rims are 45 up front and 50 out back which makes me assume ill be fine. Found others that say you can't fit greater than 32 offset on a Mercedes c class. Thoughts?
A buddy of mine is selling his summer rims and wants to get rid of them ASAP to the first person with cash. If I can make them fit with spacers that's fine just let me know.
Thanks a ton gentleman, I'm working doubles for the next three days or I would go through the forums and try to decifer the offset jargon for the answer myself. Simply do not have the time.
