Clunk from front drivers side
I recently experience a "clunk" from what I could just about work out to be the passenger side wheel when going over any medium or large bumps (curbs/speed bumps) and this was diagnosed by the garage as my front passenger suspension spring being broken. And was replaced.
Now, just one week later, I'm experiencing the same thing but from the driver side front wheel. Not happening all the time, and I went out 3 times today, and only on the third trip did I experience the clunk as I drove up the curb to my drive.
The garage said they'd replaced both front suspension springs as they have to change them in pairs. I’ll say that both front springs look new.
Is there anything worth checking myself before I take it back to the garage?
Also, I'm taking the car a on rather long road trip in a about a week’s time... somewhere around 1000 miles… Is the clunking something I should be worried about, or should it be OK for the trip?
