brake lite switch

i know a bad brake lite switch can cause codes to come up, but can it also cause speedo to stop at same time thanks

I guess when it gets too lite, it might?
When it comes to brake light switch, no it will not trigger the code, unless something changed in new cars. The ESP or ASR light will come.

Dealer told me I had a bad ESP module can that cause speedo to stop working. My problems are intermittent Speedo,ESP,abs,bas and no shift happen at same time. They want 2100.00 to replace ESP module. Thanks for your input

What car?
Dealers always do something like that and then "wash their hands" when the $2100 module did not fix the problem, but $70 sensor did.
I would look for indy with Star level computer to get second opinion. In the mean time cleaning and checking wheel senors as well as axles "gears" would be good idea..

2000 s430. Thanks for all ur help I try cleaning eveything and go from there. Nothing worse than intermitant troubles. Thanks again
