Airmatic/ABS/ ESB/BAS l(visit workshop) light on mercedes s500 2001.

I changed alternator, bad sensors, fusible link, and battery after switching the battery terminals. Also when driving sometimes the front left or right light will turn of (check light pops up) and then it disappears. Reset (move wheel left to right) did not work. What should I do next? Please help because being a college student I can't afford dealers price and have to fix it myself instead.

Just to make sure, what started all the problems was putting the battery cables on the incorrect battery terminals.
If that is the case the car should be scanned by a Mercedes SDS tool and have all control units scanned for errors. There is a chance that one or more have been damaged by reversing the polarity of the battery cables.

There is no single one quick answer to solve the problems you listed. Without knowing the trouble codes it would just be guessing.

Yep; that mistake, reversed Polarity; is going to cost you real bad. A Life Lesson learned. Really no big deal.

Always Remember; Red is Positive and Black is Negative.
Get a Red Marker or Red Spray Paint, Red Nail Polish and Mark your Battery Cable and Battery Terminal. This is a VISUAL Reminder.

Agree with NOODLES; Pay for the scan this one time.
