How much are brakes?

I asked in the forum for my car but noone responded, so I figured I would ask here. How much are brakes on a 2013 C coupe? If you don't have one tell me what they cost on your car for all brake work you have had done on a newer MB.

I am curious what it will cost when I finally need it.

I think your best bet is to call the dealership and ask them. You can also go here:

find an indy in your area and give them a call. If you reach the point when you want to do it yourself, check out autohausaz for parts. They usually have good prices.

at the stealership, front brakes and rotors are approx. $600( and the rears are the same). to replace the front pads, the cost is approx. $195( and the rears are the same).

It varies widely even at dealerships.

There is no need to see a dealer to get OE quality rotors and pads installed on all four corners from a good independent shop should be about $800.

Any shop will force you to replace rotors when you need pads only, simply because for additional few minutes of labor, not only they get additional labor charge, but 40 or even 100% part markups.
Since you are here, I assume you are DIY, >>> Excellent brake pads cost less than $100 for even the most expensive models and when you get some practice, you can replace pads on 4 wheels slightly above 1 hr.
That will make a profit of $400-700 for 1 hr of mechanical work and few minutes of ordering parts on the net.
How much you make per hr on your day job?
