I have a 1995 Mercedes S320 LWB. I am getting cooled air from the driver side (left vents) and hot air from the passenger side (right vents). Is this problem more likely the switchover valve block as I sometimes hear clicking in the vicinity of glove box or is it likely the in-car temp sensor with vent blower or is it likely something else. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. I CAN`T AFFORD TO TAKE THE CAR TO DEALER FOR REPAIR.

Welcome to Benzworld, the most common cause of this is low freon pressure, you can get your system tested and topped up with freon in many locations, it does not need a dealer to do this job.

Thanks Eric, I can check and add freon myself. I had not thought of that being the problem. That`s why this forum is so great. Will do that tomorrow and post my results. Thanks again
