Thanks for your replay- and for trying helping
The car have totally run 258.000 km. – after buying the car have I only drive in only 3 hours (directly after I bought the car)) and I was driving around 160 Km/t on the highway with the autopilot on when the engine suddenly blow up. (I am 50 years gentleman so really not hard driving
I am from Denmark / Europe but was on a trip to Germany directly after I bought the car. So the car are now by a Mercedes workshop in Rostock/Germany, waiting for what the Mercedes head office says.. AND just gerat news !! -some hours ago it suddenly looks as Mercedes will help. They call me from and was very friendly, and they told me that they will do a lot of test, + looking at data rapports etc. as will take the next 3-5 days - and then fix the problem..if they not think its my mistake (as it can´t be)
The car are 17 hours/ one day over the 2 years guarantee, as we got in Denmark and ALL service have been done 100 % by original Mercedes workshop where the car's purchase. – so what should I expect?
I have never heard a history like this before – I am a big Mercedes fan and think that especially this engine are the very best. I have never heard about problems like this for this engine ? – and then it appear for me after only 3 hours driving.. – please tell me if any one else have trying something like this !!
I will be back here in 1-3 weeks telling how the history ends – for now it looks as Mercedes really act great as I always was thinking they would do in cases like this
