Mercedes big rig active braking system fails

You should never completely trust in technology, here´s the perfect example. The real plan was that the truck comes to a stop before hitting the car. The quick thinking driver steered clear of it.

That reminds of the massive fail when they were testing S class safety features in a large metal two lane room and the cars hit.
MB blamed it on the metal room throwing the signals way out of whack.

That semi-tractor isn't longer than a sedan. Funny how it nose-dive on heavy braking.
Still technology is more reliable than humans.
ABS, SBC or whatever system will not text while driving.

I wanna see they did this when the trailer is fully loaded...

btw, commercial trucks usually don't equipped with air suspension on front axle. So they have nose dive.
