I just bought my 1995 Mercedes Benz C280 in December 2012. First time owning a Mercedes, don't know much about them, hoping to get some info about my particular vehicle.

Thank you! Would you be able to tell me why the 1995 C280 I purchased would have a 3.2 liter engine instead of the usual 2.8? I went on Kelley Blue book to find the value of my car and it says they usually come with the 2.8 engine and it doesn't let me change it to the 3.2.... Any ideas?

I take it this is the 104 engine in line 6 and both will fit perfectly, but what makes you sure this is the 3.2 and not 2.8, they are identical from the outside.

I had a mechanic look at it and he said it was the 3.2. He expected it to have the 2.8 in it and said I actually got a better deal than he originally thought because it was the 3.2 engine... I don't know just seems odd to me that most have the 2.8 and mine has the 3.2... But I am a woman lol and don't know the difference anyway. Just thought it was strange and as far as the 104 engine inline 6, I don't have a clue! Would you have a guess at how much the car is worth because I have it for sale right now and I'm not sure what to ask for it!

I cannot help much on the value, as I am in China and a 95 would be scrap yard material here, these people are into the new stuff.
