My wife and I have just sold our 1996 SL320 and acquired a 2000 SL500 - WE are new to Benzworld and are looking for an answer to the infamous radio code question.
Our 1996 came with a radio code so when we needed to replace the battery we had it. This new, to us, SL500 did not come with a radio code.
I had to replace the battery today and now need to figure out how to get he code.
The owners manual that came with the car is not the original one.

VIN # is WDBFA68FOYF193308

Can someone tell me how to retrieve the code?

Thanx

The normal way is to go to a Benz dealer with proof of ownership and they will give you the code. Welcome to Benzworld.
