95 E320 EGR Vacuum Tube
Hey all. I'm new to MB and new to this forum so please forgive me if I am re-posting or incorrectly posting.
I recently purchased a 1995 E320 wagon to move my dogs. I was looking for a cool car and something cool to learn while working on. I literally have no experience doing any of this...
So here goes. I figured I'd start by replacing my wire harness. I ordered a new one from parts.com and am in the process of removing the old one (taking LOTS of pictures along the way).
Along the way I seem to have broken a very fragile old vacuum tube that goes into the EGR (or what I'm told is the EGR) on the front of the engine by the engine lifting clip. It is a very yellowed tube that is hard plastic and rather thin.
I'm wondering what the tubing is, where to get it, if I can just pull it out of the egr etc.
If I can figure out how to post a pic I will do so.
