MB c230 buying advice

So I've been looking to get rid of my truck, 2001 f150 supercrew for a while now. Had a CL offer to trade for a 2002 c230 with 128k.

I know my truck is a rust heap, has no spare tire, and I'm nervous about being stranded on the side of the road. Not to mention inspection is coming up and its always something. That being said, parts are easy to find, cheap and I know everything about the truck and can do all the work on myself.

What are your opinions on the c230? Seems nice, and reliable for the most part but with 128k? I'm worried about a worn clutch, any other issues to look for? Qs to ask. I am really handy but know nothing about working on a Benz, is it something you can learn to do yourself or is it just too complex? parts outrageous? stuff like that...

he wants to meet up tomorrow evening so any info I can gather before that is key!

thanks guys, if this works out I will certainly be spending a lot of time here.
