2004 C240 Heater not working

Hello all,
Last month I purchased my 16 year old an MB and she loves it. Well, a couple of days ago, she tells me the heater is not working. Can anyone help me troubleshoot? Thanks in advance

You will need to be more specific. When you say "the heater is not working", do you mean:

1. The air comes out of the vents, but it is not warm?

or

2. Nothing comes out of the vents, the fan is not coming on?

Same problem

I am having the same problem. But I just bought a 1973 220/8 4 cyl and mine is a everyday driver. I just replaced the thermostat the fan comes on when I move the colder nob to 0 then I can use the middle nob for the speeds. How do you use the selector switches to get heat? can you please let me know. I am bidding on a repair manual on ebey just not here yet and I just don't know nothing is really marked. it does blow really cold air then when I let the car un for about 30 minutes I turned it off and you can hear in the top vent it bubbles. Do you think my heater core is plugged?

Sorry, should have been more specific.

The fan is blowing, but the air blowing is not heating.

Thank you
