Unhappy 2004 S430 Missing constant 12 volts to radio command unit

I have a W220 2004 S430. The problem is my radio command navigation unit will not power up its completely dead. I checked all Fuses F22, F23,F24, F25, F61, F66, ALL fuses ok. I also swapped all Units (NAV,AMP,AUDIOGATEWAY,VCU,etc with a friend Mercedes. All my units work fine on my friends 2004 S430. We finally figured out that the reason my Nav Radio command unit wont power up is because my 2004 S430 is missing the constant 12 Volts that powers Radio Nav command unit. The red wire with yellow line. My Question is where exactly does red 12V wire physically connect. What gives and makes the red 12 volt line active. No voltage out put to radio command unit.

It is the fuse in the front left fuse box, not sure which #. WIS is not specific on this in the wiring diagrams, fuse box on the drivers side at the rear of the engine compartment. You may need to lift the fuse box up to follow the wiring and colors. Late now I will look again at this in the morning. (red wire with yellow line)

Skylaw was correct.thanks bud, the red wire going to fuse #22 was cut, actually pinched wire,Finally have 12Vdc suppy, now command unit comes on for about 10-20 seconds then shuts down. I think a mercedes benz tech once said All units need to be working for entire system to work(Command, AMP, Audio Gateway,VCM, CD Unit, NAV DVD Units) I noticed now i do not haver +12Vdc to Rear DVD Nav unit located rear trunk or car. Do you know the location of Red wire with Yellow phisically connects and REAR DVD NAV gets its 12 volts? maybe i have same problem i was having for command unit. Again atlest now 12vdc active. ...Also just an fyi, i bought this car a flood title, water only went in about 2 feet from car, plus ive already replaced entire audio electronics from rear of trunk, also replaced the power distribution fuse box assebmly from underneath back seat.

Thanks SKYLAW for the encyclopedia troubleshooting link. I actually called the phone number in the page where is has the troubeshooting Fiber optics. The Technician said the Fiber Optic bypass coupler probably wont fix my problem. He said Command unit should still stay on, he thinks its a Software update issue or software needs to be re programmed. What do you think, with all the great knowledge you havr i trust you more. I think taking to Mercedes direct will cost me hundredes, my question also is, is there a way i can re-program command software myself without taking it to mercedes, what all is needed to program software on my Command unit. Or can i find technician online to do it for me instead of going directly to Mercedes? or do you still advice me to try the Fiber optic coupler first? and maybe not a software issue
