Post Newbie MB Owner from USA says Hey :)

Hey all

I am a newbie MB owner - I have had my CLK 320 for about a year and I really love my car. A lot. I never thought cars mattered too much (being a girl and all lol) but since I have gotten this car my attitude towards cars has completely done a 180, and I am very interested in learning everything I can so that I can be an informed and knowledgeable owner.

I hate not understanding what the heck the mechanics are telling me when I take my car in for something. I really don't trust anyone with my car except my longtime family mechanic in my hometown - where unfortunately I dont live anymore. So, my goal is to be able to do a lot of maintenance things that dont need the star diagnostic machine myself - ambitions for me, I can tell you I never imagined I would ever be saying that LOL.

Anyway - I am excited to be here and learn from all of you. And I thank everyone in advance for your help and patience as I figure all this out.

Hello Adarah and welcome to Benzworld.

Where I live, it is crawling with good technicians. Unfortunately, for Japanese cars only

I'm some how forced to look for my own answers here (Benzworld) and there and tell them what to do.

No one even knows the appropriate adjustments for the cooling system. Unbelievable.

Enjoy your stay
