Thank you Audio
I went to Ziebart, [installer]...they told me that there is a override, push keylessgo button 2 times and this should not quit engine, ...haven't tried it yet,
it was getting warmer here, so no need to remote start. Also, they told me I can start with vehicle key, push the panic [red] button, ..it does work.

When talking to the dealer about this shut down engine and double start, they told me, that's the way it will be.

Regarding the two way signal, sometimes it doesn't send back signal even when 10 yards away or less. When showing this to the installer,
it happened right there, less then 10 yards looking at the vehicle.

I always lock with touch on handle door, ....why then the remote shows open sometimes. I then lock the remote also, sometimes it shows open again.

Today I had a appointment with the installer,... they told me that they made a mistake on this new model.
It only took a minute or two for reprogramming...got another remote start.
They told me not to use button start to override the system, this would make things worse again and sometimes I could not shift into gear.
Also, the best would be to go over a smart phone, this would eliminate in crossing signals, ..don't have a smart phone and I wouldn't want to go this way anyway,...I've been hearing that people can easily hack into the system.

Looks like I've still a remote not compatible with this vehicle.

Have noticed the second day that I have no running lights,
turned the light switch to other settings, ..nothing happens!
I then started the vehicle with master key, ...lights on again.

Actually it went worse since they fiddled around with,
very seldom now I get signal back on the remote, showing that it
started, today, the very first time the remote failed to start,
after about 5 tries I gave up, the remote would light up
and beep, ..nothing happens on the vehicle, battery good on remote.

Also, more often now I can't open vehicle without key.
Does the remote starter has anything to do with???
I do think so.

The side mirror, now they fold out when vehicle is started with
remote,.. before, they stayed in when remote started, ..
folded out when opening door.

Have another appointment this Saturday, ...last try,....I'm ready to throw in the towel!
