Smile New to Mercedes!

Hello all!
I recently bought my first Mercedes.. It's w140 95 S500 LWB.. I've had many types of cars in my past but we can get to that later. Glad to be part of this amazing car manufacture and hopefully will be welcomed by the Benz community!

Hello there Hachi and welcome to Benzworld.

Good choice there. Some, and I, believe that the w140 is the last real Mercedes made. But that is a matter of opinion after all.

I believe also that the 1995 is the most reliable of all w140's specially if it uses the 4 speed gearbox.

Enjoy your stay.

Current vehicles:
1-MB W124 300e 12v 1992 +425k Km (daily drive)
2-Ford Crown Victoria 2009 (used when needed).

Previous vehicles:
Ford Crown Victoria 2001 (sold in early 2009)
MB W124 200 1986 (sold in late 2005)
MB W126 500 1986 (sold in late 2004)

thanks! I love this and always wanted one of these tanks. I decided on this body style strictly based on the size and presence. also, this one doesn't have quite the electronics that the newer ones do, so I will be able to do most of the work on it my self instead of the "stealership". and ya, 4 speed so smooooth!

Here are a few more pics of the car... by the way, if anyone has any advice on how to get the little bug out of the bottom left side of my middle reflector in the rear, without having to take it apart, that would be very helpful.

Beautiful car!

I had a bug in my lamp assembly once and removed it by taking out the bulb and inserting a air line hose into the opening. Looks like your low beam will be a straight shot. The other end of the air line was rigged to a shop vac with duct tape. The little bugger got in there in the summer to warm up or something. Not sure how he managed it.

Sucked him right out.

Ethanol is the devil.
