You will have to start fixing the car better sooner than later. Right now you have 2 permanent failure in locking system and 1 intermittent.
Your door lock should have mechanical linkage even if the central switch is not working. Time to pull the door panel off and take care about it.
Same with trunk lock.
Did you check your model section if they have similar problems?

Well now I'm even more concerned about the car. This morning it was cold again, but when I went to unlock it, it worked. But, it would not lock afterwards (all still from the trunk). Furthermore, the car would not start or even turn. Just silence (Dash lights came on though). We had a similar problem before and we had it worked on.

Also, I cannot seem to find the forum section for a '94 C-Class. One of them starts at '95.
