2004 Vito EZS issue
since it has been getting colder, my vito has been getting worse to unlock and start, after searching the threads here, which have been very helpful, I have found the issue to be the EZS.
as a test, I tried to start it, it wouldn't, so stripped the ignition and heated up the eeprom's with a hair dryer and it started straight away.
my question is this. there are two EZS motorola eeprom chips on the board, is it best to replace them both. and will a standard eeprom programmer (capable of reading MC68HC908H ) read and save the data from the chips once removed?
thanks for any help.
