W124 aircon a/c usage...

Dear all,

I have just installed a shiny new condenser in my W124 estate... it was expensive but worth it I think. I opted for a better than OEM Hella Behr condenser after much research on the issue. I also had the filter drier replaced at the same time, and the cabin pollen filter.

Its a new car for me, and I wanted to know how best to use the aircon system, to keep in running nicely.

I understand it can be used with the heater on HOT as well as COLD. Should I have the re-circulation active when cooling the car?

What settings are best for de-misting in the cooler months?

Are there any products anyone would recommend for 'cleaning' the internal hoses feeding the cool air?

Best wishes,
