Red face After many years with a W124 just brought a E300 TD, Bound to need help now.

Hello. After many years of owning a W124 250D, 5 speed manual. I recently brought a S210 E300 TD. I must have had rose tinted glasses on that day. I know quite well what to look for in a used car and how not to get ripped off. Just somehow forgot it all that day. I am however gradually sorting it out, so far it has had 6 new glow plugs, all fuel O rings a window regulator, gas struts for the tailgate and a new battery. The worst thing I have found so far is that it has been "clocked" I had read somewhere that was not possible to change the recorded millage on these cars, but quite clearly it is possible! The car reads 137K miles now, but at its last MOT it had 187K. I expect that this is the wrong place to ask this but I would like it to be honest about its mileage. Can anyone tell me how I might go about this. I am new to forums of any kind so I expect that I will make mistakes. Bear with me and I should get the hang of it in the end.

The only way to check the correct mileage on this car is via SDS, this is the Star diagnostic system used by the dealer, it is a computer and connects to the car via a multiplexer.
