(please move my post if it does not belong here)
I've been looking to buy a new car now for the past 6 months or so but haven't made any decisions yet so I wanted some opinions/advice of Mercedes owners.
I currently own a 2000 3 series BMW that I want to trade in, or just give to my dad. I was looking at purchasing the 2013 C350. I test drove the C250 which was nice, but there hasn't been any C350's to test out yet so I cannot really compare the difference. I only want the C350 because of what I have researched on the Mercedes website.
I find it that all the car salesmen that I speak with ALWAYS try to talk me into getting the C250. Why is that? Well what if I don't want that, and I want the C350?! This would be my FIRST car purchase and I want to make the right decision. I haven't done "massive" research on these cars, but just heard many good reviews from co-workers and family. I don't truly know all the features because I haven't been around Mercedes vehicles too much, but any info on these cars would be great. I was debating between getting another BMW, Audi, or Mercedes...but I think I boiled it down to Mercedes..but the other cars are not completely out of the picture.
What also shocked me was that there were no changes from the 2012 model and the 2013 model other than the year. (That is what the car salesman told me) Is it true that Mercedes only makes a big change to their vehicles every 7 years? Should I just wait until 4 more years when they are due for another change since my current car has plenty of miles to go and I'm not in a *hurry* to buy a new car, I just want one
Or should I just go ahead and buy the car that I want now?
Any feedback/advice/experiences would be great!
