1997 Mercedes S320 Acceleration Problem

Working on 1997 s320 Mercedes (Gas)
Depressing accelerator does not increase RPM
ASR light is on
Battery does not hold a good charge (using jumper battery to start)

Checked: APP Sensor potentiometers (Resistance) Also checked wiring from APP to ECM (resistance), Checked Throttle Body actuator potentiometers (resistance), Checked wiring from actuator to ECM (Resistance) and also checked for shorts, Verified +5 volts at ECM, visually checked MAP sensor (clean). Checked wiring from MAP to ECM (resistance), Don't know how to check MAP any further. Cleaned connections (connectors) to/from foregoing components and ECM. Still have symptoms. Do you have any ideas on how to proceed further?.
