central locking problem

New to the forum.

My 98 C43 blew a fuse for the central locking system. This was fuse number 4 in the trunk fuse box. I replaced it and have checked all the fuses that are marked for the locking system (front and rear boxes) and it will still not unlock. When I press the lock or unlock button on the key fob, the lights flash as if the car is locked or unlocked, but nothing happens. The button on the dash for locking and unlocking the door does not work either. I also have one head rest up and the button that releases it also does not work. The biggest problem I have is that the trunk is locked and I cannot get it to unlock with the small worthless metal key. I had to remove the rear seat to get to the fuse box in the trunk. I assume I have some kind of vaccum problem, any help would be appreciated.

Central locking issue and now another problem!

Where exactly are these solenoids? I have developed a new problem. I tried driving the car yesterday and the front left wheel brake was grabbing when I tried to drive it. It would activate on it's own...
