Will replacing Oxygen sensor keep check engine light off

Unplugged sensor unit right pass compartment due to very poor power and rough idle and hesitation. Already replaced EHA on fuel dizzy. Used tested one. When OS is unplugged car runs almost perfect all the time. Does shut off, and stall and surge when the check engine light comes on and off. Otherwise it runs really good.

Thanks Jody

I would suggest finding the proper section of the forum for your car and making sure to mention exactly what car you have.

Plus two. While you're doing that, please click user cp and edit details to add your vehicle and location to your profile, it's often useful information when you're seeking assistance.

If your car is MY96 or newer and you're in the US, post the codes you are getting as well (when you post the new thread in the proper vehicle forum).

Good luck.
