Greetings ! :wave: VIN#WDBEA50D5JA684783 This 1988 300CE ("BROWNIE") has 112599 on the clock. Has new pads & rotors front & rear, new aftermarket battery, new plugs, wires, filters & fluids, new European spec headlights (H4 hi/low & H3 lamps), Kenwood head unit with MP3/USB input, new Kumho 215/45/17 tires mounted on custom painted 17x8 monoblock rims. Front camshaft seals & ball joints & exhaust replaced, lowered with H&R (29569.2) springs, Bilstein (36185)shocks (all in June 2011). <> Originally a North Carolina car (Doctor owned) M.B. serviced there until 2002 (91599 milage) new E.H.A. & records show M.B. A/C system converted to R134A system at 84718 miles by Beck Imports ( N. Carolina M.B. dealer)(new compressor, condensor, evaporator, service valves, expansion valve, drier, switches) & scheuled 90000 mile service performed.<>Appears that car came to New York N.Y. at 92713 miles (May 2003) & then went to Eastern region auto auction & has a new Brooklyn owner at 104,597 miles (September 2008). So 1st. N.Y. owner drove aprox. 5942 mile per year & Brooklyn owner drove 3296 per year. <> BROWNIE's title was issued at the end of March 2012 at 112449 miles & we're just getting aquainted. New front seat skins were made by GERMAN AUTO TOPS INC. N.Hollywood, Ca. & installed by Xarate Umberto Xochlit in S.I.N.Y. From W124 forum info I have replaced what appeared to be the original OVP with a 2 fuse & replaced all ceramic fuses with Flosser coppers. Modded by Vlad (mybuildgarage.com) & find the "handle" carreraboy you can see many pictures of BROWNIE.
