Post Project list/interchangability guide

Okay, for those who missed it, I am a new member who just purchased my first old benz. She's a 84 300SD. I got the body work taken care of, now it's time to get the rest up to snuff.
I went to the local junkyard today, and found a few candidates, but none were 84 300SD. Since I am new to this game, I don't know how to tell the different bodies apart. I looked inside, and a lot of the parts I need looked to be the same, but since I've only had the car for a few days, I may be missing subtle differences. I did a forum search for "interchangeable" but that just confirmed that there is no easy "these cars will match" system, but part numbers will be the same if they're interchangeable. I went to the online resources sticky, but sadly every link I clicked was dead. I did manage to contact Whispell's shop here in St. Pete, and found they are still open, I was worried because that post was 2 years old.
I ordered both the 74-84 repair and tune-up guide and the 76-85 diesel guide by Chilton's, but it could be a week or more till they arrive, and even then they might not contain all the info that I need.
Here's a list of the things I know I need, if anyone can help me narrow down the range of models that will swap out, or a place where I might be able to dig it up myself, I would be all smileys.
turn signal/wipers - neither works.
pass. side mirror - busted
Speedo/odo/trip odo - dead
gas gauge - dead
Clock - dead ( I think just replacing the whole inst. cluster would work?)
Dr side seat switches in door - busted off
Most of the wood trim is cracked or worse.
Rear windows - pass just falls down, switch does nada, dr side went down the first time I tried it, and stayed down. I can hear the motor working, but it doesn't rise.
That'll do for starters *grin*
