Advice required urgently
Just brought an 03 Mercedes CLK500 coupe and have a few problems I need fixed.
The car has now 126.000 on the clock. Very clean car throughout but Unfortunatly the greasy dealer I brought the car off didn't tell me of its demands
The car requires service and used to show me that it was 1500kms over its required service
Service B is what it shows now and haven't seen the previous service show up at all.
The car has a hissing noise located under the dash which blows cold air on my foot. Thanks to this site I know it's a seal from the brake booster.
Sometimes and by sometimes I mean it's happened twice, I have tried to start the car and it gives me nothing... No crank, no power as if the battery is dead. Struggle to get hazards and the clock starts winding backwards. As it stands now in a running state the clock ticks in three second blocks and doesn't give an accurate reading. I assume this is because the battery doesnt have enough voltage...
I had northern prestige reset the sunroof today at the dealers cost as it wasn't closing but that's sorted now.
Can anyone give me any advice as to what I should do to achieve a healthy clk without the Mercedes Benz work room getting their dirty greedy hands on my wallet. Need cost friendly advice
I also need advice on a set of 19inch rims to give the car a tuff but sexy look can anyone share their pics or even advice on what are a hot looking rim?
Also what should I be expecting to pay to have the car running healthy again ?
