Evening

Hello,

My name is Chris, and i have recently purchased my first Mercedes.

It is a 1995 E200 Auto with 117000 Miles, runs superbly and in relatively good condition.

I am no newbie when it comes to vehicle based forums as i am a confirmed Rover/Landrover fan and have been heavily involved with those forums in the past. However with the demise of Rover and Landrovers being too expensive to run, i have been looking for a substitute.

I have always been a bit so/so about Mercedes, but having never owned one before i was persuaded to buy this one, with i have to say great success. I have been hugely impressed with this car and i hope to expand my Mercedes knowledge.

I have joined mainly to gain that knowledge which will allow me to run and maintain my Mercedes to the best level, as well as finding out what common issues to watch out for.

On a personal level i am a Sergeant in the British Army, and am more than personally acquainted with spanners, so i have no fears of getting oily.

Nice to meet you all and i am sure i shall be speaking soon.

Welcome to Benzworld, do you have friends in the REME workshop? Useful chaps to know.

ERIC.

Hi..I used to have E200 Auto Year 1995 some time ago. Not too sure it is the same spec but it does have a LCD for Climatic control. Been my old faithful for nearly 10 years before the tyranny and valve body gave way. Great sturdy body when driving long distance.

Enjoy your ride.
