2009 with Bluettooth hands free communication but does not seem to work
I just bought a 2009 CLK Convertible. I got a copy of the MSRP from the dealer with the VIN #. It states on it that the original owner paid $875 for Bluetooth Hands Free Communication. When we tried to synch ny phone, it just says Phone is not inserted and the bluetooth synch options do not come up. I went to the dealer and talked to 3 people and got 3 different answers but they were puzzled as well because they said 2009 was the first year for Bluetooth integration in th. CLKs. Love the car but would like to use this feature if I can. There is nothing in the armrest/center console .....
Anyone have any ideas. My husband thinks a previous owner must have removed it, but wouldn't the wire still be there if it was in the car at one time. I will buy a puck, but just have no idea where it would connect.
