Pink Headlight

I have an 08 CLS. The driver's side headlight is dim. It is pink in color. Is it the bulb or the ballist? How do I remove the headlight unit?

if the light is pink, the bulb is "poisoned" -> the xenon bulb has got trace amounts of oxygen in it. I´d start replacing the bulb. (Do both sides, costs about 60€ for philips 85122 bulbs..)

Turns out I have the Bi-Xeon lights. The manual says not to attempt replacement at home... I got the cover off, the ballist out but could not remove the bulb. There got to be a trick to it. What is the trick?

not sure, but why don't you go looking in your Vehicles own section? There is bound to be a how to there!

Did you just have the xenon bulb replaced? When you install a new bulb, you have to let the new bulb "burn in". New bulbs are usually a pinkish color until they "burn in". If its not a new bulb than you might just have a bad bulb. Dont touch it if you dont know what your doing. Factory bulbs are very expensive ($150-$200) or you can always get the cheap ones off ebay and hope they last.
