General Plaintiff Cry for Help....

I have posted this in the R Class area, but I'm in need of a WIS Expert and an R Class Rear Hatch Interior Trim Removal Expert, or step by step instructions to remove the R Class Hatch Interior Trim because of the following:

Hi, The Upper Stop Light in the middle of my rear hatch on my R550 (Canadian Wonder Hauler) has a crack in it, (don't know how or when or where or why) and apparently it has let water into the trunk down by the spare tire/keyless go!, et al, and now, it has apparently made my hatch auto latch fail. (I washed the car a couple days ago...) I have ordered a new stoplight. Meanwhile, I have checked all fuses and swapped all exact relays in all three fuse areas, and the latch is still dead. The door drops down and sits there limply, ready for anyone to pull it open with a twig. The latch handle switch and the power motor work fine up and down. It just doesn't lock.

I am now trying to look at the latch to see if power is getting to it, and diagnose it, etc... and I want to pull the interior trim off, but I don't want to break it (millions of dollars of plastic to buy). If you know the exact way to pull the interior trim on the rear hatch, that would be greatly appreciated. (I got the wimpy little upper pieces off, it's the big piece at the bottom that's got me nervous)

I have WIS, but after installing it, my R Class doesn't seem to be covered, even though the nice person on ebay said it was. Meanwhile, if any of you are WIS experts and can tell me how to find the R Class on WIS, that would be amazing, too! I see everything BUT the R Class. ML, GL, Cars, Light Trucks, 4x4, Heavy Trucks, Unimogs, Smarts, but NO R CLASS!!! What's up??? I enter my VIN (the prefix is there) but WIS says it doesn't support European VIN's and tells me to put in the correct VIN. I put in a known-good US R500 VIN and got the same problem. THANKS for your HELP!
