Hi! New To BenzWorld!

Just a post to say hello, i've joined this blog a couple of weeks ago the forgot about it but i'm back!

So let's start with the begining here's a little about me:

I recently bough my second M-B, wich is a 1988 300sel (w126), the first one where a 1986 300e (w124).

I'm 20 now and the 300e was my first ride ever (Yeah i know, it start a driving carreer pretty well!) which i LOVED but i was 16 then and i was well let's say a bit dumb (not that i'm not young and dumb anymore but it's a bit less worse

So I trade this car for a 1991 Mazda b2600 wich survived no more than 2 days. I tought back then that all pick-up trucks where offroad machine but jumping over 5 feet high in sand trail broke the frame just after the cab.

I then owned a '02 ford focus wich was total rubbish and as a matter of fact i just kept my bad driving habits i had at that time only two possible gas pedal settings on my mind : Dead stop OR Pedal to the metal.

I then trade de focus for a 1988 Ford mustangs LX wich was a lot of fun but the only end possible with that car was bankrupt (if you take into consideration this fuel suck*n 5.0 V8 and the tire who kept shredding I wonder why )

So i sell that one and bought a 1993 golf tdi wich was sooooooooooo slooooow that i just blow the engine after a couple of month beatin' this poor VW.

So i had to change vehicule once again... I wanted no more problems low running cost and no worries so i did it. Even tho i'm not really proud about it. I bought a Civic. You see i live in QuƩbec (This is why my english is so bad sorry about that), and here petrol heads just keep arguing that germans car are crap because the only reference or so that they have is old VW who keep breaking down and are more expensive to fix because they are europeen therfore imported and specialized. But I, for my part, I always said that nothing was better to drive than German Engineered car and I always said that i would never own a ricer because they where just a bunch of plastic parts bolted together.

I had just hurt my karma really bad and it would prove later on. I smashed that civic at 160km/h tryin to get around a corner, i lost control did a 360 and then flip it on the driver side because of a step in the grass.

I had to get back to my roots and replenish my karma So i bought my current car an 1988 300sel, and since then everything is going just fine the Benz is working great and I roll under speed limits because it is so comfortable that i'm not stressed on the road anymore, no more road rage, no more racing frenzy : it is just not appropriate for that car! I've learned my lesson from now on it is Mercedes-benz The best or Nothing!

That's it for me! What's your car storie?
