What Older Model Mercedes should i BUY ?

Hi Benz Lovers, I live in Florida and been driving Benz's for years and love all of them...I just sold my 84 380SL after driving it around with the top down in a NICE Florida Winter..Now i am already looking for something else fun...I'm a BIG GUY and the SL 380 was fun but not a great fit...I love all models of Mercedes but like the 70-80's models more than the 90's...What do you guy's think on a model i should KEEP A EYE OUT FOR ? Here in Florida there are Tons of Benz's so i am on the hunt....Keep in mind that i would LOVE something that will Go up in value.....

Thanks Guy's and GOOD LUCK TO ALL......

Introduced in 1981, until production ended in 91.

1973 Mercedes-Benz, $8,500 - Cars.com
W116sel 450

W126sel 500

Both cars are powerful and easy to get in, and out of.

I am maybe not that big, but have long legs and was uncomfortable even in H2 till I bought W210. Those sedans really have good leg room and I don't have to slide the seat all the way back to get it. Meaning unlike other cars, I can still have passenger behind me.
For strange reasons those models also sell pretty cheap, making it the best bang for the buck IMHO

Going with Kajtek1's line of thinking-try a w210 E55 AMG. Plenty of room and the power is amazing. It will surprise you.
