2002 S500 Engine Fan wiring T___T HELP

hey guys so I have a 2002 S500 and it would be the biggest help if you guys can help me with this.

So this is the deal, the Benz overheats, I put a new water pump, thermostat, radiator hose, etc. Its all good there, I realized that the Engine FAN does not work, and then I looked into the wiring, and found that 3 wires are cut and not connected, I don't know how to connect them back, here are some links to the images of the wires???

One thin wire is BROWN
the second also thin one is PURPLE BLACK
the third thicker one is RED GREEN

The front drivers side headlight burned in the past and I guess the original owner took it to a place where they did the wiring for it, and didn't connect the fan wires??

When I connect the purple black one to the thick red green one my fan will start at HIGH speed and when I connect the brown one, nothing turns on, I don't know where these wires go or connect, please help !

wow that looks like a lot of modification has been done to the wiring. are you talking about the 4 wires that come out of the radiator fan plug? all i can tell you is the brown one is usually a ground on mercedes (or so i've been told)
