Performance upgrade c230 coupe W203?

I have a c230 coupe and was wondering what are good affordable performance upgrades. I have a 2002 with a 2.3L engine. It has 192 Hp and 207tq.

Recently I deleted the cat and resonator and installed H&R springs.

I'm looking for mods that are not too expensive. I do all the labor myself.

I will appreciate any help,

Those things are worse than a joke. Completely useless. Think it was actually mispelled and was supposed to read Turdonator.

Change out the stock air filters for some K & N's and find a company that does an ECU upgrade.

Thats what I was thinking, it doesnt look like it would do anything, if it was capable of producing power it would be really popular for that price.

Changing just the filter or the airbox as well? Ive seen someone put a K&N filter in place of where the airbox would be but not sure if that would help enough to be worth it

Heck, 192 HP? My E320 only has 231. Your torque doesn't look bad either. This question is asked a lot and there are no easily affordable (DIY) ways to get much more out of these engines. The MB engineers haven't left much on the table. Most people here frown on K&N but you might try one of those.

Yea, it is a pretty good 4 cylinder since its supercharged, im guessing the E320 is a v6?

I have looked for this and I have found a lot of questions on this car but havent found a straight answer for mods that can be done although I read some people saying that the 2.3L engine is good for mods.

I call these engines "peaked" engines since their power is peaked to where it can go. I used to own an Acura Rsx and little mods on that made big improvements, I can see this car is the opposite

Do you know where the filter for the cold air intake is located? I was thinking about putting an aftermarket CAI to replace the airbox and keep the MB original CAI stock, but not trying to mess around with it if it won't give nice improvements

sell it and buy a c class amg. It's not a mustang and their wont been any cheap worth while mods. wouldn't be cost effective for a motor swap or forced injection
