shout out from cali 619
Finally putting some attention to what i started 2 years ago! Shes long over due. I got a smoking deal on craigslist believe it or not and purchased my clk320. Absolutly perfect for the price i got for 2k! Runs fast and tolerates a beating. Have not spent a dime in repairs other than tires and oil changes....
But now ive been having the urge to play around with her. But since i know nothing as far mechanics goes and honestly will not pretend i do know i dont want to initiate explorative surgery so to speak. So i decided to reach out to my brother and sisters it on this forum and it don't matter to me who posesses the skills to open her up im all ears!
If you have time and from my area SD then please id like to do the work i just need the know how..
I have a hobby shop with probably all the tools necessary to complete just about every job.
Etc...they even have a lift
They charge us cheap to rent the spot and the tools are free.
Id like to start by replacing valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, outter tie rods, and also would like to adjust the inners of my engine clean out the pistons etc...
I know these take time and money funds would be limited to parts and time to rent the spot.
All i ask is for time and the transfer of knowledge to anyone thats up to a project.
Again if youre in the san diego area hit me up i wonder if therr are enthusiast that get together that would be sweet!!!! have so many newbie questions....that can probably best be answered by direct communication.
Thanks guys hope to learn tremendously from all you wonderfull people and also get ideas and inspiration from all
