140 93 300se rear window replacement?

I finally received the replacement 2 ply left rear window that I ordered. It arrived with no hardware. The present glass is the back of a 2ply. Im sure there is a story behind how it got that way but I don't know it. It doesnt go up or down but the mechanicals work in the door so I think Im lucky and its just disconnected so easier to remove. I need step by step starting with removing the door panel. Any help or direction is appreciated. I did download a manual online that looked promising when I opened it in the wee hours. I left it open and went back today and somebody closed it. Now I have to find it without really knowing its name. Ill find it but my window is here and this forum really came through with help with my speedometer. Im looking for fasteners in the panel now but Im lost.Like most things benz Im not touching it without knowlege.

Well, I unsnapped all around the door panel and was stopped dead by the plastic cup behind latch handle. Its suppose to snap out with coaxing, exposing a fastener. Went well past the coaxing stage all the way to prying all the way around with no sign of it budging. Name calling and cussing failed. I think its gorilla glued by the same guy who put the single pane glass in without attatching it to the mechanism. Unless someone knows a trick that Im missing Ill have to drill an access hole in that piece destroying it. Not until I find a replacement.

I highly recommend posting this in the W140 section. You could also use the search function and try to do an advanced search in the W140 section only. Keywords window replacement. Good luck
