Hello from the Savoie
Hello all! I'm new to this forum so I thought it would be polite to introduce myself.
My husband and I are English but we recently moved to the Savoie in France.
We are the owners of a 1995 Sprinter van which we bought quite a few years ago from a private seller in Germany. He converted it himself, and over the years I suppose we have taken out several hundred kilos of laminated 15mm marine ply! You CAN have too much of a good thing. She now handles rather better!
It took an age, and the patience of a saint, to get the van homologated in France, but we made it in the end. At least we had kept the original headlights when we swopped them to get it through the UK MOT!
The van is still in excellent condition, given its age, but it's always good to have somewhere to ask for maintenance advice and where to get parts etc., and hopefully we might know one or two things of use to other members.
